Fire Hall Kitchen & Tap's 8 Years Birthday Bash

Eight years ago, we unlocked the doors to a renovated fire station and hoped for the best.

We had a few original burgers.

A few original beers.

A lot of opinions.

And no idea what the heck we were doing.

Since then, we've poured thousands of pints, served countless burgers, met strangers who became regulars, and added a few chapters of our own to this old building's story.

So next Saturday, June 13, we're bringing it all back.

The beers people still talk about.

The burgers people still ask for.

Tear into a 6th Sense, Mustache Ride, Mr. Bodangles, FHN, Swine Blue, or Black Garlic Club.

Wash it down with a Naughty Hildegard, High Country Kölsch, Blue Buck, Craft Lager, or Trash Panda.

Stories, laughs, a microphone we'll probably regret handing Paul, and a room full of the people who made all of this possible.

Come help us celebrate eight years of pints, friendship, and somehow getting away with this.

If you were here for the last Tap Take Over, you know how this goes.
The taps don’t stay quiet for long. The room fills up. The kitchen starts sending out plates you didn’t plan on ordering—but you’re glad you did.
We’re doing it again.
On May 21, Mt. Begbie Brewing is taking over the taps at Fire Hall.
Full lineup. Each beer paired with a dish built just for it.
One pour. One plate. Thoughtfully matched, and only here for the night.
Darryn and the Mt. Begbie crew will be in the room—stories, a few extras, and something worth sticking around for.
If you’re into beer, it’s a chance to try a lineup you don’t always see around here.
If you’re into food, this is one of those nights.

If you were here for our last Tap Takeover, you already know.

When Yellow Dog and Neighbourhood rolled in, the taps got clobbered and the kitchen turned out some of the most exciting food Cranbrook saw all year. Full tables. Big flavours. One of those nights people are still talking about.

Good news. We’re doing it again.

On Thursday, January 22 at 7:00 PM, Steamworks Brewing Co is taking over the taps at Fire Hall. We’ll be pouring a full lineup and pairing each beer with its own chef-designed dish, built just for this night.

This isn’t just a tap takeover. It’s a full pairing menu. One pour. One plate. Thoughtfully matched, built for flavour, and only available that night.

The Steamworks crew will be here with stories, giveaways, and a big beer swag grand prize. Every Steamworks beer you order earns you an entry into the draw. Winners announced at 9:00 PM. Must be here to win.

For beer lovers, it’s a chance to taste a lineup that doesn’t always make it this far from the brewery. For food lovers, this is your Olympics.
